Autumn Leaves Run

On a warm and sunny Sunday morning , 21 riders assembled at the Long Itch diner, for the Autumn Leaves Run. A different route and destination again this year. Due to the warm weather, most of the trees were still green though !!. Present were an array of machines from pre '31  BSA slopers , to a Norton rotary and a '9O s Kawasaki. We took a route through the edge of Northamptonshire and into Oxfordshire.  We passed through Priors Marston and the Boddingtons .The smell of coffee roasting at the factory told us we were nearing Banbury . We turned back at Cropredy towards Farnborough and then Fenny Compton and finished at the Fox and Hen at Bascote. Beverages and a post ride chat were taken al fresco. One machine refused to start at home time but with the kind assistance of the landlady ,it burst into to life . A pleasant way to end our riding season
